If this has been asked and answered already, I apologize, but does anyone know what those cartoons were that were shown during other cartoons like Tom and Jerry and Woody Woodpecker that were supposed to be like funny commercials for new and improved household appliances like the "bacon straightener" (that was simply a mallot that smacked the bacon flat in the pan and other ridiculous items? I seem to remember them just squeezed in between the normal episodes. I'm sorry I don't have more detail.

I remember that there were 'toons similar to what you describe from MGM. But as to what they were called, and, other information such as the creator, director, producer, and, etc., I don't know. Don?

I think Tex Avery did a cartoon with
a bacon flattener. Maybe in the
"House of Tomorrow" cartoon.

Yeah, it sounds "Tex Avery"-y, and "House of Tomorrow" is a good guess for it. Thanks, guys!

I believe Walter Lantz had some toons that were about a man buying a small cute puppy. When he took the puppy home the dog buried everything it saw. It grew up to be a great dane, the man got fed up with it and abandoned it, and in the end buried the moon. Does anyone know what the name of this toon is or who actually produced it?
