Actually we had Atomic Rabbit make a brief appearance in SFA'S ATOMIC MOUSE #3: ATOMIC MOUSE OF TWO WORLDS. SFA'S AM trades worlds with the Charlton AM, and finds he needs U-235 pills to keep his powers going and none are available, so he flies over to Rabbitville and borrows some of Atomic Rabbit's U-235 carrots.

More of Atomic Rabbit's carrots play a vital part in the upcoming ATOMIC MOUSE VS POWER JACK one shot in January. This extra-length special parody has a depowered famous animal superhero team relocating to Rodentia.

Uh, did you mean "funny animal" instead of "famous animal"?

But the only funny animal superhero team I can think of offhand is Captain Carrot's Zoo Crew, and I'm sure you wouldn't be having a DC property move to Rodentia.

(Maybe I'm recalling wrong, but wasn't Rodentia the name of Space Mouse's planet?)

Anyway, thanks for the update. Only thing is -- would those carrots work on Atomic Mouse? It was established in at least one story that they don't work on ordinary non-superhero civilians.

You're right Don PARODY, they are a funny animal PARODY superhero team but they are also famous PARODY.

Me, move a PARODY DC property to my comics? Even though it's on record that I tried to lease PARODY them years ago? And even though PARODY everyone that read the recent 3 issue mini series hated PARODY it, and especially the terrible ending, PARODY unfair to the characters? PARODY

You are correct, Rodentia was the name of Space Mouse's home planet, and I named the "NYC" in ATOMIC MOUSE that in honor of the earlier rodent hero.

I don't have a complete set of ATOMIC RABBIT, so I must have missed that one. But AM is used to U-235 so it might have worked. In any case, he doesn't eat them in the PARODY story.

I'm glad to hear you won't be co-opting any DC Comics properties. We wouldn't want the entire structure of the world, which is based on intellectual property rights, to come crashing down around our ears, would we?

I'm not sure what issue had the bit about U235 carrots not working on anyone else. Same as the one I got the illustration from, but I don't have it handy to check. One of Atomic's kid pals had a pressing need to beat up a bully or something. Anyway, the idea of getting super powers from radioactive drugs is just so retro -- real '50s, y'know? It'd never work with modern parents on the lookout.
